Everton and Moise Kean is looking increasingly serious.

That doesn’t mean the transfer will happen, of course, but it would appear that interest in the Juventus player has something behind it.

There’s been reports from Italy for several weeks and earlier on Wednesday we covered claims from Tuttosport that the Toffees are ‘doing their best’ to sign the young forward.

Arsenal were also credited with interest, but the Gunners haven’t been linked as strongly as the Merseyside club.

Tuttosport suggested the asking price could now be as high as €45-50m, although we pointed out that moving to such a high asking price is potentially a tactic which would allow Juve to then reduce the fee on condition of a buy-back clause.

Wednesday evening sees claims from Sky Italia.

They state there’s been ‘new contacts’ over the potential move, and that this would be taking advantage of Juve director Fabio Paratici travelling to England. In addition, contacts with Mino Raiola have led to ‘decisive steps forward in the negotiation’.

This follows reports in Italy that Aston Villa have moved into the picture for Mattia Perin, with it being claimed Paratici was flying to London to try and advance that deal.
