Today has been a big day for Moise Kean and Everton. After weeks of negotiations and pushing, Everton appear to be getting the young forward.
An agreement has been reached with Juventus for the 19-year-old, and he’s on his way to complete a medical tomorrow. In fact, the whole deal could be concluded tomorrow.
Most of the talk has suggested that Everton will be paying at least €30m for Kean, with various bonuses and clauses taking that to €40m if they’re met, and the first option for Juventus in future should any club ever offer an acceptable fee.
However, Sky Italy suggest that the price may be lower than first reported. They say that the ‘fixed’ part of the transfer could be as low as €25m and is no higher than €30m, while there are several bonuses included as well.
They confirm that Juventus have the first option in future, further cementing the fact there is no buyback in the deal.
At €30m Kean was already a considerable steal for Everton but €25m would be an even better deal. He’s a top talent and given the prices some players are going for, Everton have got themselves a bargain in every regard.
