Swansea City are trying to get a deal done for Groningen winger Mimoun Mahi, according to reports coming out of the Star Hotel in Milan. The hotel is where many agents from across Europe, mainly Italy, are currently based, as they look to get last minute deals completed.
TMW have reported in the past hour that Swansea City are showing a strong interest in the Dutchman, and could look to get a deal completed before tonight’s deadline.
Swansea City manager Paul Clement will be looking to bolster his attacking options in this transfer window and the former Netherlands international is an option open to the Premier League side.
With only hours left of this window Swansea City will be hoping a deal can be made with Groningen.
Mahi came through the Sparta Rotterdam youth academy, and broke into their senior team before his move to Groningen in 2014. The 22-year-old has played for his country at various youth levels.
