Chelsea loanee Mario Pasalic doesn’t seem much concerned whether he will be returning to London or not.
On loan at Milan until the end of the season, the midfielder is getting some decent game time at the club, having made 17 appearances this season so far.
Pasalic’s current form was the subject of an interview with Corriere Dello Sport this Friday. And the newspaper obviously couldn’t avoid asking him about the chances of Antonio Conte calling him back to the Blues at the end of the season.
“I’m rooting for Chelsea, I hope they win the Premier League”, Pasalic told Corriere Dello Sport.
“I’m a Milan player now. We’ll see later. Both clubs will have to speak at the end of the league”.
This is Pasalic’s third loan since joining Chelsea from Croatian side Hajduk in 2014. He was first sent out to Elche CF, then to Monaco, and is now at Milan since the last summer.
A few Italian papers claimed Milan would have a buying option over the player, although others said they would still have to bid for him. Pasalic’s contract at Chelsea expires in 2018, so this will surely be a decisive transfer window for his future.
