Manchester City youngster Uriel Antuna is on the verge of completing his protracted move to Chivas, having undergone a medical this morning.
Antuna has spent this year starring in MLS with a series of impressive performances for LA Galaxy.
His performances created plenty of attention, with Chivas leading a line of potential suitors for the 22-year-old.
The Mexican side have been in negotiations to try and secure Antuna from Manchester City for several weeks and now appear to have gotten their man.
Medio Tempo report that sources close to the player have told them he has already signed a deal to make a return to his homeland.
According to them, Antuna was at a clinic in Guadalajara this morning where he underwent ‘rigorous’ medical and physical exams.
He presumably passed those tests as the website claims he will be presented as a Chivas player in the coming hours.
The Mexican side have reportedly agreed an $11m deal with Manchester City for the forward, which tallies with previous reports that stated City wanted $10m for their man.
