There’s something of a love/hate story between West Ham and Milan Badelj that’s been ongoing for a while now.
Love because the Hammers always seem to be linked with the Croatia international, and hate because he doesn’t seem to be all that interested in moving to London.
Attempts were reportedly made last year to help him find a landing point after his contract with Fiorentina ended, but instead of heading to the Premier League, he stayed in Italy, where Lazio welcomed him.
That, however, didn’t go to plan, and Badelj ended up on the bench more often than not, with the Rome based side now trying to offload his services elsewhere.
According to Il Tempo, the 30-year-old isn’t short on offers, with a number of them in front of him including one from West Ham.
Elsewhere, Fenerbahce and Bordeaux are also interested.
It’s likely all down to the player, and if Manuel Pellegrini promises him time on the pitch, can he really afford to turn down West Ham once again?
