As was reported on Monday afternoon, Naouirou Ahamada is very close to signing for Crystal Palace from VfB Stuttgart in Germany.

An agreement had been found between the two clubs, with the Bundesliga side unable to say no to the money on offer from the Eagles.

This didn’t best please their manager, but it’s something that he has to live with, while Crystal Palace are trying to finalise everything before the end of the transfer window.

According to Sacha Tavolieri, the latest development is that Ahamada is currently ‘undergoing his medical tests’ ahead of the move to Selhurst Park.

He outright states that the French midfielder ‘is going to be’ a new Crystal Palace player come the end of the day, suggesting this one is well on its way.

At the same time, Patrick Vieira is also trying to get his club to get a deal for Albert Sambi Lokonga from Arsenal over the line, with that one being a loan rather than a permanent transfer.
