Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey has ‘been approached’ by Crystal Palace ‘in the last few hours’ as his potential exit from Italy ramps up.
That’s according to journalist Niccolo Ceccarini, who says the Eagles are now a potential destination for the Welshman.
Juventus are keen to get rid of Ramsey this month as he is not a part of Max Allegri’s plans, and his €7m a year wages are considered a problem.
A return to the Premier League is his most likely destination, but so far, there has been nothing concrete as the Welshman wants to keep his wages if possible.
Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira admitted yesterday he would welcome the former Arsenal man to his club, and Ceccarini says they have ‘approached’ the midfielder in the last few hours.
That is somewhat backed up by Gazzetta Dello Sport, who also cover Palace’s interest and say there has been a ‘proposal’.
It all rests on Ramsey, though, who ‘must still say yes’ to what is offered to him and is seemingly not ready to do so.
This is the case for other offers he has on the table as Gazzetta explain that talks with Brighton and Aston Villa have only partially convinced Ramsey as well.
It seems Vieira has work to do then if he wants to bring Ramsey to Crystal Palace at any point this month.
