Midfielder has agreed to join West Ham in rapid transfer – Medical expected in next few days

Midfielder Guido Rodríguez is one step away from joining West Ham United after they accepted his contract demands.

That’s according to journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu and TyC Sports, who both say the midfielder is close to finalising a move to West Ham this summer.

Sabuncuoğlu reported earlier today that West Ham were one of three sides to make a contract offer to the free agent in the last 48 hours and that his agent was negotiating with two other clubs.

He now updates on the matter and says West Ham have accepted the contract terms demanded by the player and will now hold a final meeting with his representatives to finalise the transfer. He has made them his first choice.

TyC go one step further, reporting that Rodríguez is ‘one step away’ from making the move to West Ham.

They say that the midfielder has ‘everything agreed’ with West Ham on a verbal basis and it is expected that he will undergo a medical in the coming days before then signing a deal until 2027.
