Middlesbrough, Stoke City and West Ham United have joined the race to sign PSV youngster Sam Lammers, according to claims in Italy. The 19-year-old made his debut for the senior side this season, and played in last weekend’s game with FC Twente.

TMW have claimed the three Premier League clubs have been keeping a close eye on Lammers in recent days, and may come in for the young attacker. Given the physique of Lammers it’s been reported the player would be well suited to playing in the Premier League.

Lammers signed a contract last year with PSV, which expires in June 2018. The youngster came through the PSV youth system, and has scored 10 goals in 23 games for the club’s reserve side, but in recent weeks he’s been part of the senior squad. Lammers has also been given playing time in the Dutch Cup during this campaign.

The Dutchman has also been capped three times by the Netherlands U20 team and whilst with the U19s he scored 10 goals in 14 games.
