Middlesbrough certainly have been very active in the transfer market this summer, after their promotion the Premier League.
The Premier League side have already signed 9 players, which includes a few big names like Victor Valdes and Alvaro Negredo.
Viktor Fischer is also another impressive signing for the club, and they’re still out there looking for more players.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe on Saturday, Middlesbrough are interested in signing Lille midfielder Ibrahim Amadou.
Amadou signed for Lille at the start of last season in a €2m deal from Nancy, and the Ligue 1 club don’t want to part ways with him this summer.
L’Equipe say only a substantial offer could tempt Lille to sell the Cameroon born, French nationalised midfielder, who made 29 appearances last season.
The 23-year-old is primarily a defensive midfielder, and has another three years left on his contract at the Ligue 1 club.
