Turkish newspaper Takvim report Al Nassr are interested in signing Leicester City’s Rachid Ghezzal ahead of the next transfer window.
Al Nassr recently completed the signing of Besiktas striker Vincent Aboubakar on a free transfer after the Cameroonian parted ways with the Turkish club.
According to Takvim, the Saudi Arabia side are now looking to sign another key player who contributed a lot to Besiktas last season, Rachid Ghezzal. It’s reported that they’ve opened talks with Leicester City to get the player on a permanent basis.
The Algerian winger has previously stated that he’d be happy to continue at Besiktas, but recent reports suggested that the Black Eagles have failed to reach an agreement with Leicester City over extending his stay.
It’s reported Besiktas officials now fear losing Ghezzal to Al Nassr, and Takvim adds discussions with the Foxes are progressing at this stage.
Leicester City are looking to cash in Ghezzal, who has just a year left on his contract at the King Power Stadium. He’s also been linked with AS Monaco and a move to Serie A in recent weeks.
