Bayern Munich’s supervisory board have today approved the deal for Crystal Palace star Michael Olise, paving the way for the deal to be concluded.
That’s according to journalists Christian Falk and Tobi Altschäffl, who both report that Bayern have been given permission by their supervisory board to finalise the move for the Crystal Palace winger.
Reports over the weekend claimed that Olise was on the verge of making the move to Bayern after a total agreement had been found with Palace and the player.
The Germans had moved to wrap up a €60m deal for the Frenchman, who had already dealt with personal terms and snubbed interest in the Premier League in preference of a move to the German giants.
Crystal Palace also appeared to have sanctioned the deal, quickly turning their attention to potential replacements for Oliver Glasner’s squad.
The last step was Bayern securing approval from their supervisory board but Falk and Altschäffl now report that they have approved the deal today.
Thus the final hurdle has now been cleared and the Crystal Palace man will be on his way, with medicals and contracts now presumably the focus and being arranged.
