Catalan outlet Mundo Deportivo today explains the situation of Ez Abde, who could be leaving Barcelona in the next transfer window.

With the 20-year-old not getting many chances with the La Liga side’s first team, it’s said the club could negotiate his exit on a loan deal, or even a permanent sale in case a good bid arrives.

And it turns out that after reading this story, it’s impossible not to guess he’ll soon be linked to a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

That’s because despite the winger having Javi Garrido as his main agent, it’s claimed there’s an ‘alliance’ with Jorge Mendes to mediate a potential move.

So a deal between Wolves, Barcelona and Mendes wouldn’t be something new in the transfer market, as the three parties had already agreed Francisco Trincão’s move to Molineux last summer and Adama Traoré’s loan to the Camp Nou in January.

Abde even has 12 appearances for the Catalan side’s first team, but given the big competition for a place in their attack, it’s naturally quite hard for him to have playing time.

So while clubs line up to bid for him this summer, offering him minutes will certainly be crucial to win the race for his signing. Perhaps Mendes’ partnership with Wolves could open a door for him in England, as Premier League and Bundesliga sides are said to be interested.
