As Carlos Miguel is edging towards his Nottingham Forest transfer, his situation at Corinthians is only getting more intense.
With the player being accused of faking an injury to avoid playing before the move is complete, both the club and the media are taking that very seriously.
According to Globo Esporte, Corinthians will today hold a meeting to decide how they’ll treat the player until the move to Nottingham Forest is finalised.
There’s a chance they won’t even accept him at training, while they wait for the Reds to trigger his €4m release clause.
Nottingham Forest are expected to make the payment next week, and there’s a chance for an agreement to expedite his move to England.
Meanwhile, Band pundit Neto goes over the top with the situation. As relayed by Bolavip, the former player claims to have proof that Carlos Miguel faked his injury.
Neto also said that the goalkeeper would be best to not leave his house whilst in Brazil, as he’s one of the most hated Corinthians players ever and won’t want to see the anger of the fans.
That’s why it’ll be no surprise if Carlos Miguel flies to England as soon as possible.
