Earlier on Monday, we summed up all the rumours which have been linking Gerard Deulofeu to AC Milan in the past few days.
Claims from Italy have been pushing hard saying the player is keen on joining the Rossoneri once again, but although the Italian side also want the move, there’s no will to pay much for him.
Now according to an update from Calcio Mercato Milan have finally made an offer to sign the Spaniard. The website says that the club tried a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Watford, however, aren’t open to this type of negotiation, especially because Deulofeu is considered to be crucial for the squad. That had been previously claimed over the weekend, and we wonder why Milan still tried.
Now although there are other options on Milan’s table, they will insist a little bit, and have scheduled a meeting with the Pozzo family for tonight, Calcio Mercato says.
It’s claimed that Watford would only accept to negotiate in case of a permanent move or a loan with the obligation to buy, which should include performance bonuses.
The figures, however, aren’t reported.
