Abel Hernandez wants to leave Hull City, or at least his agent wants him to.
This is the message we’re getting from all the TuttoMercatoWeb exclusives that have popped up over the past year or so, with the last one coming just over a week ago.
The interested club happened to be Inter, who are the latest on a long list of clubs to have been linked with the Uruguayan striker, and now we’ve got another one.
The very same TMW are now saying Bologna in Serie A are expected to meet with the player’s representatives in the coming days, having made the Tigers’ striker one of their targets to bolster their attack in the summer.
The aim of the meeting would be to see if the deal is feasible, rather than trying to sort out details just yet.
Currently out with a ruptured Achilles, the 27-year-old should be back in the near future for Hull and help them finish the season strongly, but anything beyond that remains a mystery.
His agent is clearly trying to sort something out, and with a contract running out in the summer, the Championship side don’t look like they’ll be getting any of their initial £10.8m expenditure.
What they will get is a player eager to show clubs what he can do when he comes back.
