Despite claims from Turkey saying local clubs have made contact to sign Adrien Silva from Leicester City, Portuguese newspaper A Bola goes totally against that today.
The outlet has released a report this afternoon claiming that contrary to what has been claimed, the player has actually not received an approach from Turkish sides.
A Bola reaffirms that Adrien Silva is looking for a way out of Leicester City, since he hasn’t been playing and plans to get some game rhythm in the second part of the season.
They recall that Sporting are interested in signing him, as widely reported by the Portuguese media, but don’t give any updates on the Lions’ chase.
At the start of the month, Lisbon outlets claimed that Sporting would be patient when negotiating with Leicester, and could wait until the end of January to try a deal.
The bigger problem they have is finding a way to afford 100% of his salary.
