Getting everyone in Spain very excited on Wednesday with his claims that Eden Hazard would sign for Real Madrid ‘at the latest on Thursday’, Josep Pedrerol has done it again, and, true to his word, he seems to believe we’re in the endgame now.

Expected to cost around €100m, the Chelsea forward appears to be on the verge of getting his dream move to the La Liga giants, finally getting to play under his idol, Zinedine Zidane.

On his show El Chiringuito on Thursday, the presenter teased he was waiting for a message to give all the information needed, and after a quick report on the Neymar video, the notification appeared.

Pedrerol explains the deal is ‘hours, maybe minutes away’ from being made official, with just ‘one detail’ left to be sorted.

He then adds Eden Hazard’s contract has already been drawn up, and Chelsea are said to be going through and checking it.

The Belgium international should therefore soon put pen to paper on a five-year deal with Real Madrid, finally putting an end to a seemingly never-ending saga.

Unless the Blues find something fishy in the paperwork, but that seems unlikely at this stage.
