Pepe Reina hasn’t even played an official game for Milan since moving from Napoli this summer, but he could already be sold to a new club: Chelsea.

This is what has been touted around the Italian media for a couple of days, and Gazzetta dello Sport on Thursday have the numbers of a potential deal.

The Spanish goalkeeper got along well with Maurizio Sarri, and should Thibaut Courtois leave for Real Madrid, the Italian newspaper believe the manager could turn to his former pupil.

If the two clubs were to sit down and try and sort out a deal, Gazzetta seem to think the negotiations would be for a fee of somewhere in between €6-10m.

This would be an immediate profit for the Serie A side, who brought in the 35-year-old for free, and mean they would have to keep Gianluigi Donnarumma for at least another season to ensure they have some quality in their goal.

The young goalkeeper was seen as a potential easy sale in order to bring in funds after Milan’s FFP debacle earlier on in the summer.
