AC Milan are approaching their Europa League match against Celtic this week with great confidence around the club generally. They beat rivals Inter Milan at the weekend and find themselves top of Serie A, having won all four of their league matches so far this season.

That’s of course in great contrast to Neil Lennon’s Celtic, who will be wounded after their weekend loss to Glasgow enemy Rangers.

There’ll be huge desire at Celtic to put in a good performance against Milan, yet also the worry over what another defeat could do to the fragile feeling around the Scottish Premiership side.

Milan’s concerns are different, and MilanNews24 reports manager Stefano Pioli is worried the match against Celtic could be a ‘great waste of energy’ in a packed schedule.

That’s why he’s considering shaking things up, and bringing new faces into the starting eleven.

MilanNews24 believe that could see Brahim Diaz and Sandro Tonali brought into the team for the match, and it’s stated Diogo Dalot, who moved on loan from Manchester United in the last window, is ‘dreaming’ of making his debut for the Rossoneri.
