Italian giants AC Milan are being linked with Leeds United winger Luis Sinisterra.
The story comes from journalist Carlo Pellegatti, who on his Youtube channel, had been speaking of the Rossoneri’s wish to make a big signing for the right wing position.
Despite the other names linked to Milan recently, the pundit named Sinisterra as a great option, pointing out that his game at Leeds makes him ready to fit into Milan’s team.
“My big dream is only one, Luis Sinisterra. At Feyenoord he played on the left, but at Colombia and Leeds he starts from the right,” said Pellegatti (via Milan Live).
“He reminds me to death of (Rafael) Leao, even if he is less overbearing and devastating in the race. But he has great class and confidence, he reminds me of Rafa. Having one on the right and the other on the left, with De Ketelaere as an attacking midfielder, would drive me crazy. Moncada followed him, Milan likes him. He has a market value of 25-35 million, therefore in the range of the club.”
Pellegatti is probably right in seeing good potential from Sinisterra, who already has three goals and one assist for Leeds since joining the Whites from Feyenoord this summer.
However, it’s worth pointing out that the Elland Road side spent €25m to take him from the Dutch side. So regardless of Transfermarkt valuing him at that very same price, it’s very hard to imagine the Premier League club selling the Colombian player for just that.
So in case this idea develops, we should get to know Sinisterra’s price as soon as Milan get in touch with Leeds to ask about it.
