Last week, Le10 Sport reported Everton are keen on Paris Saint-Germain’s outgoing Thiago Silva and the Toffees interest in him was backed up by the Brazilian media.
If reports coming out of France are to be believed, Silva is not the only PSG player being chased by the Merseyside club.
According to Le10 Sport, the Premier League side are thinking about Layvin Kurzawa.
It’s claimed that Everton are ‘carefully looking’ at the left-back’s profile. His contract at the Parc des Princes expires this summer and he’s not expected to continue with the Ligue 1 winners.
The 27-year-old’s signing is viewed as a ‘market opportunity’ that seems to ‘appeal’ to both Everton and the former Chelsea manager. However, they are not the only club chasing the fullback.
Le10 add Kurzawa’s name has been circulating ‘all over Europe’, but the track leading him to another club is yet to be advanced.
Ancelotti has Lucas Digne and Leighton Baines as the two left-backs in the squad. The latter is a free agent this summer and multiple reports in the British press have stated that Everton have offered a 12-month extension to the 35-year-old veteran.
If Baines signs a one-year deal, it’s unlikely the English club would bring in Kurzawa.
