Villarreal, Fiorentina and Atalanta are among the clubs in the picture for Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
The midfielder spent last season on loan at Leicester City, where he played 25 matches under Enzo Maresca’s orders.
The manager left the Foxes for Chelsea in the summer and the 21-year-old has made two appearances this season. He’s yet to feature for the Blues in the Premier League this season.
Earlier this week, Casadei scored for Italy U21 in their 1-1 draw against Ireland in the European qualifiers. This shows he’s ‘demonstrating that he has fully returned to his level’ and has ‘rediscovered’ himself.
The Chelsea player is now represented by Epic Sports Italy, led by Francesco Facchinetti and Ali Barat.
It’s claimed the ‘market is heating up’ for ‘rediscovered’ Casadei. Facchinetti has already received appreciations for his client from several clubs, including Villarreal.
Last summer, Fiorentina and La Dea liked the Italian a lot and the Serie A duo could still be interested in him.
Casadei’s contract lasts until 2028. Amid growing interest, Chelsea want to focus on him, both for present and the future.
