Fulham manager Marco Silva has revealed he remains in contact with Everton’s owners, as he does all the clubs that he’s managed to date.

A Bola have the second part of a wide-ranging interview with the Fulham boss today in which he continues to discuss various matters.

One of those brought up is his relationship with Evangelos Marinakis, who he worked under when he was manager at Olympiacos from July 2015 to June 2016.

They are just one of several clubs in a wide-ranging coaching career to date that’s seen him manage Estoril, Sporting Club de Portugal, Olympiacos. Hull City, Watford, Everton and Fulham.

Silva’s time in Greece remains one of his most successful to date as he managed a 2.44 points per game ratio across 48 games, the best PPG of his career to date.

His spell was only a brief one, though, as he and Marinakis did not prove to be long-term partners and went their separate ways after a brief period together.

It seems there’s no hard feelings, though, nor is there at any of his clubs, including Everton, whom Silva remains in contact with to this day.

“It lasted a year and then it ended,” he said.

“It was different from what happened with the president of Estoril, who was a very important person in my career and a great friend. I’m talking about Tiago Ribeiro.

“But I also continue to exchange messages, in addition to Marinakis, with the owners of Everton and Hull City, that is, with some people we have a closer relationship, with others, not so much.”
