Fanatik report Everton manager Marco Silva has blocked Oumar Niasse’s potential move away from the Premier League club after recent claims Galatasaray are showing an interest in the Senegalese striker.

For most of this season Niasse has been out of the picture at Everton under Silva, with the Portuguese manager preferring the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Cenk Tosun ahead of him.

It’s reported Niasse is still an option for Galatasaray as the Turkish club are desperately searching for a new striker following the departure of their only senior forward Eren Derdiyok.

Galatasaray are looking to sign at least two attackers in this transfer window and the Everton man is said to be an option.

However, Fanatik say Galatasaray’s chances are now small at this stage because of Silva.

The Turkish newspaper also report the 28 year old has had some offers from Premier League clubs.

Niasse is contracted to the Toffees until June 2020.
