This week, we’ve seen reports from Latin America claiming Marcelo Bielsa already has an offer for a new job following his departure from Leeds United.
It was claimed that Chivas Guadalajara placed an official bid to land the the former Whites’ manager, who’s said to be analysing their team before giving them an answer.
It turns out that those news had come from Bielsa’s home country Argentina, and as the Mexican media shares an update on the situation, it’s now said there’s no offer made.
Fernando Cevallos, from Fox Sports, comes up to say there’s ‘no approach’ from Chivas made for the manager once of Leeds United.
The Guadalajara club are said to be only focused on their objectives for the season, with current manager Ricardo Cadena doing an ‘extraordinary job’.

It’s said the Mexican side will only evaluate their coach’s situation at the end of the season, so there’s no reason why they’d be in touch with Bielsa now, even if he is a free agent after his Leeds exit.
Bielsa, who joined Leeds United in the summer of 2018, was sacked by the Whites in January 2022 following their unsatisfactory campaign in the Premier League.
He left the Elland Road with 81 wins, 30 draws and 59 defeats in 170 matches.
