Marca are now treating it as fact that Brehim Diaz will be moving to Real Madrid, it’s just a matter of when.
The Spanish newspaper have published several articles recently on the matter, but previous ones always kept open the possibility of a stay at Manchester City.
It was claimed Pep Guardiola would be doing his best to try and convince the youngster to stick around a while longer.
The Spanish club will approach his signing from January 1st, when he’ll have six months left on the current deal and FIFA rules allow talks to begin.
However, it’s not ruled out that Madrid will enter talks with Manchester City to try and get the player in the winter market. Marca don’t mention any potential fee, so it would be interesting to see the English club’s response.
