Paul Pogba started his first match for Manchester United on Friday night, and put in a good performance as his old/new club beat Southampton 3-0.
After that, rather than strutting his stuff around Manchester, Pogba had a mission to go on back in France.
The Manchester United galactico isn’t the only footballer in his family and went back to his home country to support big brother Florentin.
On Friday, Florentin celebrated his 26th birthday, along with twin brother Mathias. The latter is also a professional footballer, playing for Partick Thistle in Scotland.
L’Equipe say both Paul and Mathias were in attendance to watch Florentin’s Saint Etienne beat Montpellier 3-1 on Sunday.
The French newspaper quote Florentin as saying: “It was our birthday two days ago. They surprised me that they were here.
“I have great pride for Paul, I hope he will become even greater.”
