Fiorentina are still waiting for Manchester United to make their bid for midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, despite an increased confidence in England they’re going to sign him.

That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who say that the news in England that a deal is on the way will be warmly welcomed by those in charge of the Italian side.

The newspaper explains that as of this moment in time, none of the numerous suitors for Amrabat have made a serious move and instead ‘failed in the face’ of their inability to satisfy the Italian side’s requests.

That includes Manchester United, whose attempts have so far only ‘gradually rose in tone and offer’ but have never been enough to satisfy Fiorentina.

The Serie A side are waiting for those in charge at Old Trafford to make a ‘concrete follow-up’ for the Moroccan international and ‘truly guarantee’ the amount necessary to secure his signature.

The fact that Amrabat will be leaving this summer is already known and the belief is that when a firm bid is actually made there will be a ‘short conclusion’ to negotiations.

Reports from England indicate that is coming sooner rather than later and thus the end of this week, or the beginning of next, could the decisive days for the player and Manchester United.
