The Catalan media continue to link Manchester United with move for Ronald Araujo.

Given the player’s contract expires in June 2023, there’s some concern around his future, and Sport say it’s a worrying situation for those in charge at the Camp Nou.

Whilst there’s no danger of losing the Uruguayan for free at the end of this season, it’s believed that if there’s no renewal agreed before the summer, then Barcelona would be ‘practically obliged’ to sell for a reasonable price.

They’re set to lose Ousmane Dembele for nothing, unless there’s a dramatic turn in events, and don’t want to be in a similar situation with another player.

Using this pressure is the plan of Manchester United, and other interested Premier League clubs, with Chelsea and Liverpool also getting a mention.

The Red Devils have made contact, working ahead of the summer, and it’s stated they’ve made it known they could offer much more than is currently on the table from the Blaugrana.

A situation to keep an eye on.
