Emerging earlier this week, the idea that Manchester United could be signing Casemiro has grown a lot in the past 48 hours.

In fact, it’s believed that the Red Devils have already made a bid for the Real Madrid player, as well as presenting a contract to the Brazilian.

There has yet to be confirmation from the La Liga side or the player about either of these claims, but there are more coming out by the hour, with Josep Pedrerol on El Chiringuito offering the latest.

He claims that Manchester United ‘want Casemiro to play on Monday against Liverpool’, meaning the deal needs to be done very quickly.

That is followed up in another tweet by the show’s account, as Pedrerol believes the midfielder’s future ‘could be resolved in the next 48 hours’.

This all suggests that Manchester United are doing their best to get a deal over the line in the very near future, which would explain why Real Madrid have since turned their attention to Bruno Guimaraes, who is now the favourite to replace his compatriot at the Santiago Bernabeu.
