Manchester United ‘think’ about Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi, according to Le10 Sport.
Having arrived at the King Power from Genk in January 2017, the Nigeria international has been featuring regularly for the Foxes since the 2017/18 season.
The 23-yer-old’s displays resulted in him being followed by Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, according to the claims. The Red Devils are now added to that list.
PSG and Madrid are unlikely to make an approach for the Leicester player because they have other priorities for the midfield.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, however, have ‘succumbed’ to the African’s charm and have been ‘amazed’ with his performances for several months this season.
According to the report, Ndidi is considered as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League and he could ‘fall prey’ to United’s plans for the summer transfer window.
The player last signed an extension at Leicester in August 2018 and his current deal runs down in 2024.
Manchester United signed Harry Maguire from Brendan Rodgers’ side last summer and it wasn’t easy for them to negotiate a deal for the England international. They would face similar challenges this summer, if they were to make an attempt for Ndidi.
