With Manchester United obviously in huge need for reinforcements, Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot continues to be the player who seems closest to a move to Old Trafford.
On Monday morning, we covered Corriere dello Sport‘s story which said that following new talks on Sunday, the agreement is near, even though the ‘the distance from the request of mother Véronique must be reduced’.
Now, as journalist Rudy Galetti brings an update on the situation, he claims the negotiations for Rabiot to join Manchester United are ‘at the final stage’.
The report points out the agreement between the clubs has been on for a week, and the talks between the Red Devils and the player’s entourage are said to be in ‘finalisation’.
Galetti claims the white smoke is ‘just a matter of time’, sounding very confident it won’t take long until the Frenchman makes his way to Erik ten Hag’s side.
Still, we must point out that the journalist makes this report by quoting a tweet he had published on the 10th of August and said pretty much the same thing.
So despite all this confidence about the transfer, it’s still clear these negotiations are dragging out.
