Real Madrid dedicated website Defensa Central today features a story on the race for Yusuf Demir.

The outlet claims there are a couple of clubs who’ve set their sights on the Rapid Vienna midfielder and could soon go for his signing.

One of these sides is obviously Real Madrid, who have the 17-year-old on their ‘agenda’. The other club, who seem to have a stronger interest, are Manchester United.

Defensa Central says the Red Devils are the ‘most attentive’ club, and are already in talks with Demir’s entourage. However, it’s claimed there are no ‘firm’ offers from Manchester United so far.

It’s said that Rapid Vienna are looking to sell the youngster for at least €10m, as they know he’ll be one of the most promising players of the year.

The report claims that Demir has ‘many offers’, but hasn’t chosen any of them yet. Real Madrid are said to be waiting for the first moves before they get in the competition.

Despite his young age, Demir started featuring for Rapid Vienna last season and already has 23 appearances for the club.
