Haberturk claim Manchester United have tabled a €13m bid to sign Trabzonspor starlet Yusuf Yazici, but it has been rejected by the Turkish side’s president Ahmet Agaoglu.

Agaoglu is not ready to sell the player this summer, and it’s claimed he’s told Manchester United that this isn’t the time the youngster will be moving.

The Turkish club are in deep financial trouble but they want to keep their homegrown stars like Yazici for at least for another 12 months.

Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven have also reportedly made an approach to sign Yazici, but after talks with Agaoglu and manager Unal Karaman the 20-year old attacking midfielder has decided to stay at the club for next season.

Yazici has been one of the best players at Trabzonspor in the past two seasons after coming through the youth ranks at the club. He played 33 league games last season, scoring 10 goals.

This could be an attempt to hype the player’s profile and using Manchester United to do so, or alternatively Yazici is another young player the club have been following.
