Inter Milan are reportedly finally getting ready to bid for Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian.

After months of speculation, Fabrizio Romano from Calcio Mercato says that stronger approaches should be made in the coming weeks.

Inter’s intention is to have the player on a loan with a buying clause in case he reaches a certain number of appearances.

The Italian side have two other targets, which are Aleix Vidal from Barcelona and Nelson Semedo from Benfica, however, Darmian can play on both sides and he’s of course Italian, so would be a perfect signing for the January market, as the adaptation period wouldn’t be so long.

But the deal wouldn’t be so easy. Manchester United have already refused to negotiate in the summer and the figures demanded could be still pretty high.

Manchester United reportedly consider the player to be worth €20m, but Inter’s intention is to seal the deal for up to €14m. The Italians hope the fact that José Mourinho hasn’t been using the player will help to drop the price.
