For the past few weeks, various reports coming out of Italy have explained Manchester United are considering signing Sergej Milinković-Savić in the next window.

At the weekend, Calciomercato.it explained ‘strong signals’ for the midfielder are coming from the Red Devils.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti appreciates the star’s profile. Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on the developments around the 27-year-old’s situation at the Italian club. In addition to this, Inter Milan and Juventus cannot be kept out of the transfer chase.

Another website Calciomercato explains Los Blancos, the Old Trafford club, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have followed the player, who ‘will be at the centre of discussions’ in the summer.

Milinković-Savić’s agent Mateja Kezman has made contacts with the Turin club. However, the problem for the Old Lady to sign him is the fee requested by Claudio Lotito. The Lazio chairman is demanding €60-70m and this is too high for Massimiliano Allegri’s side.

Inter and Juve not being able to satisfy Lotito’s demands for the Serbia international is reported by La Repubblica, relayed by LazioNews24.

It’s claimed both Manchester United and PSG are ‘serious’ about Milinković-Savić and these two sides ‘would be about to knock on Lazio’s door’ with a ‘maxi-offer’ of €70m.

Three reports have named the Manchester club as the Serbian’s suitor, with La Repubblica further adding that United are preparing to knock on Lazio’s door with a proposal to sign him in the summer.
