Manchester United are said to be one of the many clubs interested in Fluminense forward Richarlison.
As reported by Calcio Mercato, it’s AC Milan who are the main pretenders for the Brazilian, but the Red Devils could provide tough competition, and have the player on their radar.
Fluminense would be demanding something between €15m and €20m, and the Italian side don’t really want to join an auction.
Richarlison has scored 14 goals this year, which has attracted interest, including that of Manchester United. Palmeiras tried to sign him a few months ago in a €11m deal, and despite getting close, Fluminense ended up blocking the transfer.
A story from ESPN Brasil this week claimed Ajax are also in the race. They tried to sign the 20-year-old with a €9m bid in January, and will make another attempt with €12m.
Whether Calcio Mercato’s story is true or not, Manchester United always have hundreds of players being scouted, and hired two more Brazilians to watch youngsters since José Mourinho was appointed. It’s possible the club are interested in Richarlison, but it’s also clear that if they want him, they better move soon.
