Manchester United continue to struggle for the signing of Alex Telles from Porto, according to the Portuguese media.

The latest updates come from TVI24‘s Mais Transferências, who say the offer from the Red Devils is still not enough to sign the fullback.

Journalist Rui Pedro Braz is the one confirming that the claims of a bid from Manchester United are true, and adds that the amount on the table is less than €10m.

The Red Devils believe the player could leave for so little because his contract expires at the end of the season. But Porto continue to stand firm, and demand at least €20m for the move.

TVI24 claims that in case the amount ‘isn’t substantially raised’, then Alex Telles will stay at Porto, regardless of their risk of losing him for free.

Reports from England and Portugal continue to differ regarding how much Manchester United are offering for Telles, but they all agree the numbers haven’t been good enough to convince Porto.
