Manchester United ready to make ‘decisive offer’ for key target – ‘Final squeeze’ underway

Manchester United are ready to put the ‘decisive offer’ on the table for Rasmus Hojlund and get a deal over the line as quickly as possible.

That’s according to Eco di Bergamo, who say the ‘final squeeze’ for the player is underway and he will be a Manchester United player soon.

The newspaper explains that the Reds Devils are getting increasingly closer to matching Atalanta’s demands for the striker with a decisive offer of €65m plus bonuses that will reach €70m.

There’s a belief it can be closed between today and tomorrow, with the strong inclusion of Paris Saint Germain not enough to change things.

Manchester United are ‘always ahead’ of their Parisian counterparts in the challenge to get the Danish international.

They are now in the ‘hectic, feverish hours’ stage of the negotiations with ‘step-by-step’ contacts underway to get a deal over the line.

The belief is that all the relevant parties are working hard to reach the infamous Italian ‘white smoke’ by the end of the weekend. There is every chance it can arrive at any point, though, and Manchester United will have their new striker through the door.
