Manchester United youngster Facundo Pellistri is now ‘prepared to travel’ to Spain to complete a loan move to Granada.

That’s according to IDEAL, who say the move has been finalised between the two clubs and the loan deal is expected to be announced sooner rather than later.

They report that the winger is now confident a deal has been done between Manchester United and Granada and, as such is prepared to travel to Spain to finalise the move.

The official announcement from the two clubs is now pending and will be announced as soon as he is in the city of Alhambra and signs a contract until June.

They explain that the negotiations for the 22-year-old have been ‘arduous’, firstly due to economic issues and then ‘participation issues’ and then lastly ‘doubt’ raised by Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman had late doubts about letting Pellistri leave and thus leaving himself short, with injuries continuing to bite in his squad.

He’s not used the Uruguayan much this season but seemingly considered keeping him at Old Trafford as a back-up option for the second half of the season, nonetheless.

Pellistri is now ready to fly to Spain to sign off on it before the end of the transfer window.

This is backed up by journalist Sebas Giovanelli, who reports that Pellistri will arrive in Spain this afternoon to finalise his loan move from Manchester United until the end of the season.
