On Wednesday evening, Dortmund based newspaper Ruhr Nachrichten stated Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho has arrived in Germany to seal a move to Borussia Dortmund.

They had also published a video of the 23-year-old landing in an airport via a private jet.

Sky Deutschland journalist Patrick Berger took to X, formerly Twitter, to provide the new development on the Manchester United player’s impending move to BVB.

Berger has shared a video of the winger arriving to undergo medical tests with the German club. The England international was accompanied by Dortmund’s team integration manager, Joel Kunz.

The journalist adds Sancho ‘hasn’t shown himself yet’, likely to the media, but his transfer to the Bundesliga side should be completed today. If there are no last-minute setbacks, he could start training with his new team as early as ‘this afternoon’.

Manchester United signed Sancho from the German club in 2021 and he failed to replacte his Dortmund form at Old Trafford. He even had a fallout with Erik ten Hag at the start of the season, which is why the attacker hasn’t made an appearance since last August.

A return to BVB will certainly help him play regularly and could even regain his best form.
