It seems Juventus have just been doused by a bucket of cold water in their hunt to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United.

With Borussia Dortmund not expected to try to buy him following his loan spell in the second half of last season, the player is now set to find a new destination.

Outlet CalcioMercato.it today shares a story on Sancho’s situation, pointing out that Juventus had a strong desire to land the Manchester United player.

However, it’s claimed that while his entourage are trying to find the best solution for him, they’re aware that Sancho’s wish is to stay in the Premier League.

Moving to another English club is claimed to be the ‘priority’ for the Manchester United player, even though all the proposals will be evaluated.

The Red Devils are reportedly demanding €50m for his transfer, and that’s another problem that Juventus could face. Thus, the whole situation is considered an ‘uphill climb’ for the Bianconeri.

Sancho still has a contract with Manchester United running until 2026, and Erik ten Hag’s side will be working hard to recover part of the money they spent on him.
