As Manchester United today played a friendly match against Burnley behind closed doors, most of the attention was towards the new signings who could feature in the game.

With Jadon Sancho involved, the Red Devils won with a 3-1 scoreline, and continue waiting for Raphael Varane to finally be ready to enter the pitch for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

Now it turns out that the friendly could say a thing or two about outgoing transfers as well, because one of the players who could leave Manchester United this summer apparently wasn’t involved in the match.

That’s Andreas Pereira, who according to TNT Sports correspondent Fred Caldeira, wasn’t even included in the squad. Their report highlights that he’s already said yes to a move to Flamengo.

Other reports from Brazil today already said Manchester United are sending ‘positive signals’ about Pereira’s move to Flamengo. The midfielder is set to move on a one-year loan, and the clubs are now said to be discussing details such as the payment of his salary and the price for the buying option.

The 25-year-old is reportedly keen on making the transfer, despite offers from Everton and Fenerbahce as well.
