Many Manchester United supporters hoped that their club would be signing Alex Sandro this summer for the left back position.

The Brazilian seems very much for sale at Juventus, and has for a while, as long as someone pays the right price, of course.

Jose Mourinho’s side have been repeatedly linked, but in recent weeks it’s PSG who have been considered the likelier. TMW reports that Sandro is getting closer to the French club by the hour, but there’s still some Manchester United involvement indirectly.

Once Sandro is gone, it’s stated Juventus will move to close the signing of Matteo Darmian, who has been on the Old Trafford exit ramp for months.

The Premier League club are said to be asking for €18m for Darmian, and it’s claimed he’s already agreed personal terms with Juventus. An agreement has been reached, according to TMW, on a four year contract worth €2.5m a season, a figure which is likely to be after tax.

There’s been countless claims of Darmian having an agreement with Juventus, but Sandro’s exit could see a move finally happen.
