Diogo Dalot has ‘not completely convinced’ since moving to AC Milan on loan from Manchester United in the last transfer window.

He’s played in every one of the Rossoneri’s Europa League games, and that’s pretty much only when he has been used, with only around 100 minutes in Serie A. Most of those minutes came in a match against Genoa, one in which Dalot failed to impress as Milan could only manage a 2-2 draw.

MilanNews24 don’t sound so confident about the player’s future in Milan beyond the end of the loan from Manchester United. There’s no buying option so a deal would have to be negotiated from scratch, and unless Dalot impresses much more over the rest of the reason then it’s unlikely the effort will be made.

The Portuguese fullback does have another chance on the way, with first-choice Theo Hernandez unavailable for the upcoming match against Benevento. It’s made clear it’s a chance the Manchester United man must ‘absolutely’ take, and if he fails to impress again then the likelihood of a permanent deal falls further.
