As the Argentine media continues covering Sergio Romero’s situation at Manchester United, they seem excited about the possibility of seeing him at another Premier League side.

Marca is one of the many outlets today who say the goalkeeper now has the chance to move to Brighton & Hove Albion in this transfer window.

Following the departure of Mathew Ryan from the Seagulls, their report says there’s now the ‘possibility’ of Romero moving to replace him.

Even though the 33-year-old has been linked with a return to Argentina, Marca now claim that the chances are ‘low’. Racing are said to be ‘dreaming’ of his signing, yet the player isn’t thinking of going home just yet.

Sergio Romero’s contract with Manchester United expires at the end of the season, but with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirming he doesn’t count on the goalkeeper, then his move in January becomes more likely.

Many Argentine outlets have been happy to see the former national team goalkeeper linked to the Seagulls, especially because he’d be a teammate of Alexis Mac Allister.
