Sporting CP welcomed FC Porto on Tuesday for their Taca da Liga (League Cup) semi-final.

Wednesday’s edition of A Bola reports there were multiple clubs who had officials in the stands looking for ‘potential reinforcements’.

That’s no surprise given the player’s who have come through at Porto and Sporting in recent years, and it’s also no surprise that Manchester United were one of the clubs in attendance.

Manchester United have taken multiple players from both clubs, and most recently even took their manager Ruben Amorim from Sporting.

There’s inevitably been many links between Manchester United and Sporting players since, with the assumption Amorim may want to reunite with one or two of his former players in the summer.

The man linked most is probably Viktor Gyökeres. He scored the only goal of the game, and A Bola rated him at 8/10.

Gyökeres was one of three Sporting players to get 8/10. The other two were Geny Catamo, who provided the assist, and Ousmane Diomande.

The highest rated Porto player was Galeno, who got 7/10.
