Manchester United have reportedly sent scouts to another Benfica match. This time, according to A Bola, club officials were attending the Eagles’ away game at Desportivo Chaves this Saturday.

CapturarChaves is a city in the extreme north of Portugal, being one of the longest trips the Lisbon sides need to do during the league, and A Bola highlights Manchester United’s efforts to send a club scout there.

The newspaper says that José Mourinho’s side went to watch the players who are under the spotlight recently: Alex Grimaldo, Nélson Semedo, Victor Lindelof, Gonçalo Guedes or Eduardo Salvio.

Benfica won the game 2-0, and from the players mentioned, the only one who had an outstanding match was the left-back Grimaldo. The left-back is reportedly followed by Pep Guardiola as well, so the newspapers have been giving lots of attention and building recent hype.

Juan Antonio Pizzi and the former Fulham striker Konstantinos Mitroglou scored the goals of the match, with Grimaldo getting an assist.
